Small Groups

Taking part in a small-group is a great way to get involved in the church.  Meeting weekly they give you an opportunity to get to know others, share fellowship and discuss relevant issues.  We know how daunting it can be to walk into a building where you don’t know anyone, so the small-groups meet in a variety of locations and at different times.  You can choose one to suit your diary.

“So that the body of Christ may be built up and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ”
                                                         Ephesians 4:12-13

  Why a small-group?

Small groups play a vital part in helping people walk the Christian pathway that leads to completeness in Christ.

They help:

  • People feel part of a group in which they can build meaningful relationships in a secure environment.
  • Prepare and equip people for the Christian life.
  • Provide practical support in times of difficulty and hardship.
  • Provide fellowship and facilitate spiritual growth.

What might be studied?

Many opportunities exist for learning during Small-Group studies. Each group is largely responsible for choosing the topics they will study. Groups may elect to study a particular book of the Bible, research and discuss a biblical theme, debate a Christian response to current affairs, watch a DVD series…. etc. etc. What is important is that the group offers members an opportunity to grow in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour, whilst building strong bonds of support and friendship within the body of believers.

… and….  we just enjoy talking and praying with each other….

If you are not in a group and would like to be, please speak to the Pastor.
